Prof. Dr. Murat Topdağ was born in 1978 in Malatya. After completing his primary and secondary education in Malatya, he continued his high school education in Istanbul. He studied medicine at the Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, English Department and graduated in 2004. In the same year, he started his residency at the Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology, where he served in both academic and clinical roles until 2017.

Between 2017 and 2025, he worked at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital and as of 2025, he sees patients at Memorial Göztepe Hospital. His specialties include ear, nose and throat diseases, head and neck cancer surgery, and aesthetic nasal surgery. Prof. Dr. Topdağ is internationally recognized for both his scientific and surgical expertise.

Prof. Dr. Murat Topdağ has authored over 30 international (SCI) and numerous national scientific articles.

His research focuses particularly on ear diseases, facial nerve injuries, hearing loss, rhinoplasty techniques, and head and neck tumors.

His publications have appeared in prestigious journals such as The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, Otology & Neurotology, and European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology.

Thanks to his scientific contributions, he is regarded as one of the leading authorities in ENT and head & neck surgery in Turkey.
